Further Information This photograph shows Joppie Vedder standing on the right of the picture, next to two couples. The photograph was taken after the end of the Second World War. Jopie was a non-Jewish woman who lived with her Jewish partner in Amsterdam during the Nazi occupation of The Netherlands. Her partner was arrested by the Nazi regime, although the circumstances of his death remain unknown he did not survive the Holocaust. Jopie lived to over 100 years old, she never married nor had another partner.
