We are in the early stages of an exciting £4.2million redevelopment project and there may be some disruption onsite, and changes to our exhibition displays. We thank you for your patience whilst this essential work takes place.

Did you know that we are an English Heritage Associated Attraction? Make use of your English Heritage membership to gain 2 for 1 entry today! This offer applies to admission only. For events, an additional ticket is required per person.

We recommend booking your tickets in advance. 

We do advise if you are booking as an adult group with 10 or more in your party that you email [email protected] so we can arrange the visit for you.

              Our opening times are Sunday - Friday 10am - 4.30pm with last admission at 3.30pm.

     We are closed on Saturdays.
