This flexible assembly encourages children to think carefully about why memories matter and how listening to others helps us understand the past. Pupils are invited to reflect on important questions such as: Why is it important to listen to each other’s memories? What can we learn from the memories people share? This assembly with explore the impact of the Holocaust on different generations using the stories of survivor Dr Anita Lasker-Wallfisch and the son of the man who ran Auschwitz.
