Wednesday 27th October

  • FREE visit to the National Holocaust Centre & Museum.
  • Exclusive behind-the-scenes look at our collections and our award-winning interactive survivor testimony.

We are looking for local people to visit us during half term to review our Journey exhibition and tell us what you think about our future plans.

We’re offering free entry to the museum and a free drink in our café for people who are willing to tell our researchers what they think and help us secure funding for our future.

Choose an arrival timeslot of 10:30am - 11am or 1:30pm - 2pm

What will happen on the day?

  • Please arrive at the museum within half an hour of your chosen time. You’ll have free entry to the museum.
  • You’ll be met by one of our team and have time to look round our award-winning Journey exhibition, an immersive experience that tells the story of the children rescued from Nazi Germany by the Kindertransport in the 1930s.
  • You’ll then spend time with our innovative interactive survivor testimony, The Forever Project, in which you can ask questions of a virtual survivor and have them answered in real time.
  • You’ll be able to see unique objects and archives from our collection that are not normally on display to the public.
  • We’ll ask what you think of your visit and of our plans to refurbish the museum. All we ask is that you give our researchers your honest opinion on what you’ve seen!
