Information: This school report was donated by Sigmar Berenzweig. It appraises Sigmar's performance during his attendance at the Primary School Philanthropin, in Frankfurt am Main.

This school report was donated by Sigmar Berenzweig. Sigmar was a pupil at the Primary School Philanthropin, in Frankfurt am Main. The Philanthropin was a long existing school, serving the Jewish community from the 1800s until its closure by the Nazi regime. The report confirms Sigmar’s date and place of birth, that he was the son of a businessman, and that he was first registered with the primary school on 12 April 1937. Sigmar’s report is for attendance at the school from 12 April 1937, until 31 January 1939. The report also confirms Sigmar’s transfer from the Primary School Philanthropin to England, as of 31 January 1939. Sigmar came to England on the Kindertransport.
