This family book was donated by Sigmar Berenzweig. The book contains information about the Berenzweig family and includes the details of Sigmar's birth, the names of Sigmar's parents, and the date of their wedding. The details of Sigmar's grandparents are also contained in the book, which has been filled in by hand. The pages have been stamped from Frankfurt am Main, which was the home town of Sigmar's father and paternal family. As the family faced increasing danger from Nazism and the persecution of Jewish people, Sigmar was sent to England on the Kindertransport.
