  3. Watch: Women of the Holocaust 2021

Women's History Month 2021

For women, the Holocaust was, as Professor Myrna Goldenberg called her book, a case of 'Different Horrors, Same Hell'. The social and psychological distinctions between the way that women and men experience their lives were reinforced by almost every aspect of the Holocaust: in the ghettos, in hiding and in the camps. This March, for Women's History Month, we invite you to join us for a special three-part livecast series. Watch five female titans of resilience, courage and defiance who not only survived their respective ordeals but went on to challenge the status quo in their post-War lives.

See below for the series line-up:

The Big Debate: with Holocaust survivors Joan Salter MBE and Dr Agnes Kaposi. Hosted by BBC Europe Editor Katya Adler

Wednesday 10th March 7.00pm
Mothers of the Holocaust: with Holocaust survivors Hanneke Dye and Eva Clarke BEM. Hosted by Dame Helen Hyde DBE

Sunday 14th March 7.00pm
Mother of All Survivors: with Kitty Hart-Moxon OBE. Interviewed by Marc Cave

Wednesday 24th March 7.00pm
