The Journey Online

Want to explore The Journey digitally? Our online learning programmes are a great way for primary aged children to access Leo’s story, our exhibition and survivor testimony.

The Journey Online is an educator led programme that includes 'Leo's Journey' and a survivor testimony talk.

Option 1 - Leo's Journey and survivor talk

Leo's Journey is based around our exhibition about a 10-year old Jewish boy called Leo who lives in 1930s Berlin.

During the workshop we discuss:

  • Jewish life before WWII
  • Issues around identity
  • The increase in persecution
  • The role of propaganda
  • School life in Nazi Germany
  • Leo’s eventual departure as a refugee on the Kindertransport to the UK.

The survivor testimony is a one hour talk with a Holocaust survivor who will share their experience and answer questions from your class.

We provide all the resources for the session including pre and post lessons.
