Make a Stand. Wear a Rose.

Today, leading up to Holocaust Memorial Day on 27th January 2017, The National Holocaust Centre and Museum launches the White Rose Appeal. By wearing a White Rose on HMD 2017, we not only remember the past, but also commit to protect the future by making a stand against prejudice.

The Centre hopes that this initiative will help to raise awareness of this important day of memorial, and support its work in providing a place of remembrance and peace for thousands of people throughout the country who lost loved ones. Donations will also support educational programmes, as we work in partnership with Holocaust survivors to educate over 20,000 young people each year: encouraging them to challenge prejudice and stand up against racism.
