Hazel became a Trustee of the Holocaust Centre in June 2014.

Educated at Nottingham University, Hazel then qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1987 with Deloittes and has held many finance roles in the private sector, including at British Polythene Industries, Exchem PLC and West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc.

In 2006, Hazel joined the Charity Sector as Finance Director for Djanogly Learning Trust, one of the first Academy Trusts. Roles at two other Educational Charitable Trusts followed and she is currently Finance Director at the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, a charitable, charter body.

She has held the Treasury function in several voluntary organisations over the years and has a lifelong interest in sport and in learning.
