We are thrilled to announce that Holocaust survivor Bob Norton will be at the Centre on Sunday 5th December to share his testimony.

Robert Norton was born in 1932 in a small town in Czechoslovakia and lived comfortably with his family until 1938 when the German-spekaing part of Czechoslovakia was ceded to Germany as a part of the appeasement of Hitler. Bob’s town found that Anti-Jewish laws were quickly imposed upon them and Bob left school before his family fled to Prague. His family was able to obtain a visa and they travelled to the Netherlands before settling in England. Bob speaks to groups about his experiences to further Holocaust education and we are so pleased to have him back again after the difficult periods of lockdown.

We’re open from 10am to 4:30pm to allow visitors time to view both of our museum exhibitions and memorial gardens.

Event time: 1pm – 2:30pm

Bob will talk for an hour and will then answer audience questions.
