'Ordinary People'

The theme of Holocaust Memorial Day 2023 is ‘Ordinary People’. The victims were ordinary people like us. However, for genocide to happen, ordinary people have to take part: ordinary people like us.

There are no better teachers of these truths than survivors of the Holocaust. Hearing their testimonies is powerful. But having a conversation with them is life-changing. So what will we do when they are no longer here?

Using a combination of AI, voice recognition and machine learning, The Forever Project will replicate this unique conversational experience for generations to come. We are honoured that members of our survivor family will be speaking at a range of HMD events... alongside their digital selves, demonstrating how The Forever Project works.
