The National Holocaust Centre is the only centre dedicated to Holocaust remembrance and education in the UK. It plays a unique role as a memorial, a museum, a place of testimony and of learning.
Every year, the Centre welcomes some 20,000 students to learn about the Holocaust and the applicable lessons for today’s communities. We also deliver outreach in schools, encouraging young people to recognise and respond to the challenges of discrimination; intolerance; hatred and bigotry. Home Office (BSBT) funding will enable us to work with Stop Hate UK to deliver inspiring programmes in 42 schools during 2019.
