Anka with her daughter Eva
Eva was born in Mauthausen Concentration Camp. Her mother, Anka, started giving birth in a coal wagon while being transported from one camp to another. Eva weighed just 3lbs at birth as her mother was little more than a walking skeleton. They were both saved by the advance of the allied forces.
