Mala
Mala
Mala gave this talk to students at The National Holocaust Centre in 2015. She explains how her family paid for her to be hidden by a Polish family. Eventually she returned to the Ghetto and was deported along with her little cousin to Ravensbruck. Mala and her cousin were moved to Bergen-Belsen, where she became very ill with typhus. Fortunately the camp was liberated in time for her life to be saved. Sadly, very few members of her family survived the Holocaust.
Watch Mala's testimony below. Visitors to our website will only be able to watch the first 15 minutes. However, members of the National Holocaust Centre and Museum are able to see the entire testimony, so please become a member -
