News & Events Volunteer open day – Sunday 1st July Are you interested in history? Looking to expand your skillset, knowledge and employability? Volunteering at The National Holocaust Centre and Museum could be just the experience you need to make your CV stand out from the crowd. You’ll also be helping us with our mission to educate future generations about the past, so that together we can protect the future. Open day agenda You’ll get to explore the grounds and exhibitions, meet a Holocaust survivor, talk to staff and have a lovely lunch. 10.30am start – introductory film and an informal talk with all interested volunteers about the opportunities available at the Centre 12.30pm - lunch will be provided in our café 1pm – 2.30pm – Trude Silman, a member of our Holocaust Survivor community, will be sharing her story with you 2.30pm onwards – you’re invited to explore the Centre’s two main exhibitions and the beautiful memorial gardens Book your place Please email us to confirm that you will be attending.
