The Centre is delighted to announce that John Fieldsend will be speaking on Sunday 26th May 2019 between 13:00pm and 14.30 p.m.

John is a Holocaust survivor who escaped through the Kindertransport. His father was German and his mother was Czech, when life became difficult in Germany they fled to his grandparents in Czechoslovakia. But when Hitler invaded in 1938 life here too became difficult, and John's parents made the decision to him and his brother to England on the Kindertransport. 

The Centre will be open from 10.00 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. to allow members of the public to visit the exhibitions and memorial gardens.
