Holocaust Survivor Bob Norton

Will be sharing his testimony

Sunday 11th August -1pm to 2:30pm

We are thrilled to announce that Holocaust survivor Bob Norton will be at the Centre on Sunday 11th August to share his testimony.

Robert Norton was born in 1932 in a small town in Czechoslovakia and lived comfortably with his family until 1938 when the German-speaking part of Czechoslovakia was ceded to Germany as a part of the appeasement of Hitler. Bob’s town found that Anti-Jewish laws were quickly imposed upon them and Bob left school before his family fled to Prague. His family was able to obtain a visa and they travelled to the Netherlands before settling in England. Bob speaks to groups about his experiences to further Holocaust education
