6.00-7.00pm: The Survivors

Rabbi Shlomo Levin interviews two remarkable human beings. Survivors of two very different genocides. Each with a story that will engross, horrify but ultimately uplift you.

Born in Lvov in 1932, Janine watched the Nazis murder her father and brother, and her mother die of typhus in the Lvov ghetto. She hid in a hole beneath a horse stable for a year - thanks to a mysterious man it took her 75 years to trace. She speaks to thousands of people a yer as an adored member of our Survivor family and is star of our multi award-winning short film Edek.	Seven days a week under the hot sun, Sokphal survived hard labour in the Killing Fields of the Cambodian Genocide. He was allowed just 3 spoonfuls of rice per day. After the Khmer Rouge killed his father and brother, Sokphal  was held captive by the invading Vietnamese army in a brick oven. He is the author of 'The Killing Fields of Cambodia: Surviving a Living Hell'.	Rabbi Shlomo Levin is the Senior Rabbi at South Hampstead Synagogue in London. Since the 1980s he and Rebbetzin Lynndy have transformed a small Jewish community into one of the UK's largest and most vibrant. It is indeed "More than just a SHul". Shlomo is an interviewer of great warmth and wit, who is nevertheless not shy of asking the tough questions.

A ceremony of candle lighting and prayer led by Rabbi Eli Levin, with live musical accompaniment performed by Rabbi Eli and his brother, the popular vocal artist and band leader Levi Levin. Their beautiful harmonies have been described as "reaching directly into your heart".

7.50-9.00pm: 'Truth Will Out One Day’ panel discussion

Led by questions from a live audience, both online and in the room.

Fake truths about Jews took hold right across Europe 2000 years and are the root cause of the Holocaust. Today, they are resurgent again. Often the substance of conspiracy theories which run riot across social media globally, they are spreading division, abuse, violence and lawlessness.

One day, the real truth must prevail. It is for all our sakes, if we wish to continue sharing a safe, democratic society. A panel of Jewish, Muslim and Christian experts will be discussing what that will take.

Lord Mann is Advisor to the Government on Antisemitism. He has described antisemitism as "the worst of racisms". He has ensured major football clubs in England and abroad adopt the IHRA definition of this racism, for which he has also famously challenged Jeremy Corbyn, Ken Livingstone and others within the Labour PArty of which he remains a member. Prior to being granted a peerage, he served as Labour MP for Bassetlaw from 2001-2019.	Named in The Times 100 most influential Muslim women in Britain, Julie has served as Executive Director of the Islamic Society of Britain and is Co-Chair of Nisa-Nashim Jewish & Muslim Women's Network, co founder of The Big Iftar, Founding Director of Sadaqa Day and a Trustee of Jewish-Muslim theatre company Muju. She  recently established Together We Thrive, a social enterprise platform to train and inspire Muslim women to fully participate in society at every level. Julie was awarded an MBE for for Services to Promoting Interfaith Understanding.	Giles is an Anglican priest, journalist and broadcaster. He is Rector at the south London church of St Mary’s, Newington. He has written a column for The Guardian and appears frequently on BBC Radio 4 where he is a regular contributor to Thought for the Day and is a panellist on The Moral Maze. Giles is also an Assistant Editor and contributor to innovative online 'slow news' platform UnHerd and is the author of Chosen: Lost and Found between Christianity and Judaism.	Tracy-Ann is a TV, theatre and radio actress and narrator, widely known for roles including Chrissie Watts in EastEnders, Auntie Val in Friday Night Dinner and Nancy Malinovsky in Ridley Road. She is a high-profile campaigner against anti-Jewish racism, especially in the Labour Party from which she resigned as a member in 2016, over its delay in the disciplinary process of Ken Livingstone, after he referred to Hitler supporting Zionism. Her brave stance has caused her to be the target of ongoing abuse, rape and death threats on her Twitter page, which she brushes off with courage, wit and aplomb.
James Rosenthal	Professor Maiken Umbach	Marc Cave
James Rosenthal is a global business leader at Google, currently serving as Director for Cloud Strategic Initiatives in EMEA. He joined Google in 2007, launching a range of products including Google Analytics & Checkout, before moving to the commercial side of the business. Prieviously he was an IP lawyer. In 2001 he joined tech start-up FortressGB to bring smartcard access to stadiums like Emirates & Wembley. James was also founding partner of Evidently, a creative agency based in London and Licensed Carriage Hire, the UK's premium B2B licensed car hire business. He sits as Advisor to Jewish-Interactive charity, WIZO and mentors start-ups at Google Campus.	Maiken is Professor of Modern History at the University of Nottingham. She previously taught at Cambridge and Manchester for 15 years and held visiting appointments globally including at Harvard. She directs the research project 'Photography as Political Practice in National Socialism', selected as anti-racism project of the year by UK Research & Innovation. Her latest book Photography, Migration and Identity uses private Jewish family photographs to reassess Jewish the responses to Nazi persecution. With the National Holocaust Centre & Museum, to whom she is now Acdemic Consultant, she co-created the VR-based exhibition 'The Eye as Witness’, touring again in 2022. She also works with a range of Holocaust museums, artists and film makers to improve the way we use visual media to teach about the Holocaust, National Socialism and contemporary antisemitism.	Panel chair. Marc is Director of the National Holocaust Centre and Museum, the only place of Holocaust learning in the world founded by Christians and one of the Arts Council’s prestigious ‘National Portfolio Organisations’. He has a creative industry background. He built and sold the advertising agency Drugstore and co-founded film company Green Cave People. Previously he ran various divisions of global advertising firm The Lowe Group. As a producer and strategist, his advertising and film have won over 200 awards. These include the short films Edek starring Janine Webber and rapper Kapoo, and Stand Up' featuring 24 stars of the English football Premier League.
