The centre will be open from 10am-4:30pm, with last admission at 3:30pm. You are welcome to visit at any time during the day.

Kinder Theatre Production

We are delighted to be hosting an immersive, innovative show from award winning puppetry and visual theatre company, Smoking Apples, on this day. 

Escaping on a Kindertransport train, one small Czech- Jewish girl embarks on a mighty adventure.  

 Joyful, moving and poignant, Kinder features beautiful table top puppetry and cinematic show play, as Babi tries to assemble the parts of her broken identity to find peace in her future. 

Kinder is aimed at ages 11-16. The show features references to war and persecution which some younger audience members may find upsetting. Each performance will last approx 55 minutes. 

Accessibility: Kinder has been designed to be accessible for neurodivergent audiences. In the space, we will be providing stims (stimulatory accessories) and active responses to the show are encouraged. Audiences will be able to leave and re-enter the show at any time.
