The Tree of Hope echoes The National Holocaust Centre’s unique memorial gardens where 1,000 white roses are planted in memory of those murdered in the Holocaust. Inspired by the White Rose movement which called for active opposition to Hitler’s regime, the roses also represent hope, love and remembrance.

The Tree of Hope is a beautiful permanent sculpture in the Centre. Green and silver leaves and white roses represent your support for the Centre and its role as a place to remember, to reflect and to educate. Inscriptions on a leaf or flower can include your name or a short message, perhaps to memorialise a loved one in this special place, to mark a celebration or simply to inspire others.
